Client Overview :
Our client is established 20 years ago as a family business, he has expanded over the years, organically and vertically, by diversifying its offering. What began as a father-and-son-owned B2B business, has organically grown into a diverse F&B group, employing 120 team members, and covering a unique range of food verticals. He has proven to be a dynamic and adaptable force in the F&B industry driven by quality and customer experience, with the ability to evolve, replicate its successes, and expand globally.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger management
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process across departments (F&B, housekeeping, events, etc.)
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze variances to help improve operational efficiency and profitability
- Conduct regular cost analysis and identify areas to reduce waste, especially in food & beverage and labor costs
- Manage cash flow and working capital, ensuring liquidity for daily operations
- Ensure compliance with local financial regulations, tax laws, and audit requirements
- Support inventory management and menu pricing decisions through accurate costing and margin analysis
- Collaborate with department heads to align financial strategies with operational goals
- Assist in financial planning for new outlets, renovations, or expansions
- Maintain and improve financial control systems, including POS and accounting software integration
- Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and stakeholders when needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s or CPA/CMA is a plus)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, with at least 2–3 years in the F&B or hospitality industry
- Strong understanding of hospitality P&L structures, food costing, and revenue cycles
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Oracle, SAP, or hospitality-specific systems like Omega or SunSystems)
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Knowledge of labor law, tax compliance, and internal controls in hospitality settings
