Job Overview:

We are looking for a reliable and energetic Barback to support our bar team in delivering fast, smooth, and high-quality service. The ideal candidate is organized, quick on their feet, and passionate about working in a team-oriented hospitality environment. As a Barback, you’ll play a crucial behind-the-scenes role in ensuring the bar runs efficiently and guests receive outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Restock and replenish bar inventory including liquor, wine, beer, garnishes, glassware, and ice
• Ensure all bar stations are clean, organized, and fully equipped before and during service
• Assist bartenders by retrieving ingredients, cleaning tools, and preparing garnishes
• Maintain cleanliness behind the bar including mopping, wiping surfaces, and removing trash
• Collect used glassware and dishes and return them to the appropriate area for washing
• Help with kegs changeovers and ensure fridges and coolers are stocked properly
• Monitor supply levels and communicate with Bar Manager or Bartender when restocking is needed
• Support in setting up and closing down the bar at the beginning and end of shifts
• Follow hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards at all times
• Assist with deliveries and proper storage of beverage inventory

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a hospitality or bar environment is a plus, but not required
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy items (e.g., crates, kegs)
• Strong team spirit and willingness to take direction
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure
• Excellent time management and attention to detail
• Flexible schedule, available for nights, weekends, and holidays
• Good personal hygiene and grooming standards
