Client Overview: 

Our client is an international bistro, coffee shop, bakery, and pastry establishment that has been serving customers since 2016. The restaurant offers a diverse menu, including breakfast and lunch options, and is known for its friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities :

– Reports to duty on time with clean attire.
– Makes sure that all subordinates reports to duty on time with clean attire.
– Supervises the operation in the kitchen.
– Responsible for checking the goods and products that arrives to the kitchen. Able to return the merchandise if not according to the company’s procedure.
– Puts someone in charge in his absence.
– Conducts training with the executive chef and restaurant head chef.
– Checks storage and cleanliness regularly.
– Checks that all subordinates are working on FIFO procedure in preparation.
– Keep the restaurant chef informed of all information regarding the kitchen.
– Supervises taste panels.
– Strictly enforces the clean as you go policy.
– Attends meetings and replaces the restaurant chef when he is absent.
– Able to spot employees’ weaknesses and work on them.
– Checks fridges temperature and make sure it is filled properly.
– Capable of ordering merchandise and goods for the kitchen daily and on time from the store after having the restaurant chef approval.
– Conducts meetings with kitchen staff if he feels it is necessary

Qualifications: 

– A minimum of 3+ years experience in managerial duties
– A degree in hospitality management or its equivalent.
– Have the ability to lead a team
– Have friendly and courteous manners
– Have the ability to work under pressure
