Client Overview:
Our client is an international bistro, coffee shop, bakery, and pastry establishment that has been serving customers since 2016. The restaurant offers a diverse menu, including breakfast and lunch options, and is known for its friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities :
– Works in close coordination with the Operations Manager.
– Responsible for all employees in the restaurant including Hostess and Waiters.
– Has a thorough knowledge of the restaurant policies and procedures
– Abides to restaurant rules and regulations on grooming and appearance
– Conducts daily briefings and monthly meeting with restaurant employees
– Supervises all areas of the restaurant operation and make sure employees are abiding to internal rules and regulations
– Makes sure all areas in the restaurant are clean and ready to accommodate guests
– Conducts yearly appraisals for service and kitchen employees
– Prepares yearly budget or forecast for the restaurant
– Responsible for setting yearly objectives
– Responsible for recruitment of new employees
– Prepares purchase requisitions/orders for kitchen, dining area and the bar area
– Follow-up on personnel development of restaurant employees
– Make sure cash procedures are being implemented
– Follow-up on employee requests and recommendation
– Makes sure all guests are satisfied with the service provided
– Follow-up on guest recommendation and requests
– Makes sure up-selling strategy is being implemented.
Qualifications:
– A minimum of 5 years’ experience in managerial duties
– A degree in hospitality management or its equivalent.
– Have the ability to lead a team
– Have friendly and courteous manners
– Have the ability to work under pressure
