The Cigar Master onboard the cruise ship Manara will be a specialist in this field, designing pairings based
on guests tastes, and providing profound information to guests educating them within this spectrum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow the service standards as required
- Provide an attentive and memorable experience for guests you interact with
- Responsible for receiving and checking cigars
- Responsible for maintenance of cigars and assuring proper storage facilities.
- Responsible for regular checks and ordering when stock is depleted
- Responsible for maintaining a proper and professional display of cigars and accessories
- Maintain all cigar storage areas, including lockers to the correct air quality, temperature, and humidity.
- Utilize the POS system as per policies and procedures in place.
Qualifications:
- At least a year within a Cigar-related business
- Strong knowledge of the international cigar scene
- Excellent knowledge of storing, handling, and managing cigar stock
- Passion for cigars and hospitality service
- Relevant and related hospitality and cigar skills and studies
- Experience in high-end luxury environment providing exceptional and memorable service experience
- Friendly and positive with a flexible approach and ability to work under pressure
- Good command of written and spoken English & Arabic is a prerequisite
