Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Diesel Mechanic Technician to join our technical team. This role is ideal for a fresh graduate or entry-level technician eager to build hands-on experience in diesel engine maintenance, diagnostics, and repair under the guidance of senior mechanics.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the inspection, maintenance, and repair of diesel engines, generators, trucks, and heavy equipment
- Support senior technicians in diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
- Perform routine servicing tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and basic engine adjustments
- Help dismantle, clean, repair, and reassemble diesel engine components
- Use basic diagnostic tools and equipment according to safety standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment
- Accurately record maintenance work and report issues to supervisors
- Follow company procedures, safety regulations, and quality standards
Requirements & Qualifications
- Technical diploma or vocational training in Diesel Mechanics / Automotive Technology
- Basic understanding of diesel engines and mechanical systems
- Willingness to learn, take instructions, and develop technical skills
- Ability to work in a team and follow safety guidelines
- Physically fit and comfortable working with tools and machinery
- Basic knowledge of workshop tools and equipment
- Fresh graduates are strongly encouraged to apply
Preferred Skills (Plus, Not Mandatory)
- Internship or hands-on workshop training
- Basic electrical or hydraulic system knowledge
- Ability to read technical manuals or diagrams
- Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
