Job Overview:

The Finance Manager will be responsible for the financial health of the company by developing and implementing financial strategies, as well as analyzing and interpreting financial data to support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the organization’s long-term goals
  • Oversee the preparation of financial reports, including monthly and annual statements, and interpret financial data to support decision making
  •  Manage relationships with financial partners, including banks, investors, and external auditing firms
  •  Lead the budgeting process, including the development of long-term financial plans and the management of day-to-day financial operations
  •  Work with Cost Control team to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
  •  Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and reporting requirements
  •  Advise on investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take
  • Maintain the company’s financial health
  •  Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans.
  •  Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities
  •  Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met
  • Manage the preparation of the company’s budget
  • Liase with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained
  • Make estimates of funds required for the short and long-term financial objectives of the organization
  •  Complete financial reports, lead the month-end closing process and conduct monthly financial forecast
  •  Achieve a proper mix of equity and debt to minimize cost and maximize operational profit
  • Manage and monitor metrics, KPI tracking, and reports
  •  Evaluate the financial performance of the organization and measure returns on investments
  • Understand and calculate the risks involved in the financial activities of the organization
  •  Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting
  •  Participate in strategic data analysis, research, and modeling for senior company leadership
  •  Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • BS in Accounting, Finance or Economics
  • CPA or CMA is a major plus
  • Experience – 5-10 years of relevant experience
  • Fluent in English and Arabic.
  • French is a plus.
  • Negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships
  • Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used
  • A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
  • Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations
  • Ability to synthesize large quantities of complex data into actionable information
  • Excellent business & commercial judgment, analytical, and decision-making skills.
